Lean Suite, 2007–
Lean Suite is a sculptural installation in which the structural elements of painting are refigured. Cotton fabric altered through dye, pleating, paint– takes pictorial form conjunct its surrogate architecture.
Found supports include tripod, chair, walker, dolly and stretcher bars. In its dissection of painting, Lean Suite alludes to an animism of materials, and shifting in interdependencies.
